By accessing this website and making a reservation, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Reservations

All reservations made through our website or directly with the hotel are subject to room availability and confirmation. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will be sent an email confirmation with your reservation details. Room rates are quoted in Colombian pesos and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise indicated.

2. Check-in and check-out

• Check-in time: 15.00 p.m.
• Check-out time: 12.00 p.m. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Check-out time (private house La Puerta Azul): 11.00 a.m. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment

A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. Accepted methods of payment include visa, master card, bank transfers and cash on arrival. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card prior to arrival.

4. Changes to your reservation flexible rates

• Puerta Aqua: If you need to change your reservation, please contact us at least 2 days before your scheduled check-in time. Changes are subject to availability and price adjustments may apply.
• La Puerta Azul: If you need to modify your reservation, please contact us at least 5 days before the scheduled check-in time. Changes are subject to availability and price adjustments may apply.

5. Cancellation and no-shows

For full cancellation policies, including fees and deadlines, please see our Cancellation Policy page. If you do not cancel your reservation within the allowed time frame or do not show up, you will be charged the fees outlined in the Cancellation Policy.

6. Room Policy

The maximum number of guests per room is 2.

Smoking is not permitted in some rooms and common areas. There are designated smoking rooms.

Pets are allowed, but additional fees and rules may apply.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest's account.

7. Liability

La Puerta Hostels is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in guest rooms or public areas. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuables. In addition, the hotel is not responsible for any injuries, damages or accidents occurring on the property unless caused by negligence on the part of the hotel.

8. Use of the website

By using this website, you agree that

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia; and any disputes arising will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
